Rink reopening

The rink is scheduled to reopen on 24th July. If I become aware of any changes to this I will post them on the news section of the forum. There are some photos of the work in progress on the Murrayfield ice rink site:

http://www.murrayfieldicerinkltd.co.uk/id9.html
According to the club website the first club session will be either 26th July or 2nd August.

For those of you with facebook accounts I have set up a complimentary facebook group for this forum at:

Also recently created by the rink itself is a facebook Murrayfield ice rink fan page

If the links don't work you can find both sites by searching for Murrayfield on facebook search.

Stirling Ice rink

This summer season Stirling ice rink have sessions for 'Proficient skaters' on the following times:

Mondays 18:00-19:30
Tuesdays 18:00 -19:30
Thursdays 16:00 -17:30
Friday 18:00 -19:30
Saturday 10:00-11:30
Sunday 10:00 -11:30

The flyer says: Proficient skaters -unlike the skate for all sessions these sessions are for skaters of all ages who can confidently skate unaided. You will be skating alongside experienced and confident skaters who may be practicing to improve their technique....
Which basically means you can spin and jump at these sessions.

Holly and I are trying out one or two sessions next week. Is anyone else thinking about going?
